Fabulous Friday Finds

Hi darlings! Happy Friday!! If you couldn't tell - I'm in a good mood today. That's because a) I'm getting my hair did today (and if any of you highlight or color your hair, you'll understand my joy), b) I'm going to see New Moon (EDWARD!) tomorrow night, and c) it's the weekend!

So, since it's Friday, I wanted to share some fabulous finds with you. Most of them are Anthro treasures I found on eBay for all of you - hopefully this makes someone's little anthro "items that got away" dreams come true :-)

Skylight Dress by Coven. I remember this dress from a couple years ago, hanging at the rack in the Southport store. I was so struck by it's beauty and delicacy. Ask me why I didn't buy it? Beats me - too low cut for me to wear to work? Probably. But I found a size small for $59.99, so someone get it!

Changing Colors Swing Coat. Size 2, starting bid at $79.99. Ohhhh someone get this coat! This is also from a couple seasons ago and oh so cute in person. It's by Elevenses, so need I say more. It's also corduroy - love it!

Annular Dress by Weston Wear. Size 10, starting bid at $57.99. Wow, this is a great price and it's new with tags. The seller has great feedback, but I would ask for real life pics of the dress since it's just a stock shot. I know a few of my readers have this (Rosa!), so they can speak to sizing, but it's a darling dress -especially for the holidays!

Daybreak Cardigan by Leifsdottir. Size S, starting bid $40. Gorgeous lavender color and it's Leifsdottir - this is a great price! GET IT!

Cabbage Hill Dress by Anna Dolan. I remember loving this Anthro outfit in the catalog. Size M, BIN $99.00 and it retailed for $248. It's gorgeous!

Maturing Sun Coat by Tabitha. Size 8, starting bid $89.99. Super coat tweed coat with faux fur collar. Super cute! I don't remember this one - what a find!

Cinematographer Dress by Maple. Size 2, starting bid $25. Great price and adorable dress! I hope someone snags this - great price too!

Epic Pullover. Size M, Starting bid $34.99. I have this darling top and this is a great price! It's from 2006 and retailed for $118! It fits pretty true to size to a bit small if you have a chest. Hope someone gets this one!

Silver Lining Jacket by Elevenses. Size 2, Starting bid $69.99. This is from August 2008 and retailed for $178. Isn't it adorable?! Elevenses fits true to size and is great quality (can't stress that enough). Hope a size 2 girl gets this.

So I hope some of you are able to snag these amazing Anthro pieces on ebay! As always if you're looking for something specific and can't find it, shoot me an email and I'll look for you. I'm literally on ebay daily. Just yesterday I helped a reader of mine find an Anthro dress on Ebay. Doing stuff like that makes me so happy :-)

I also wanted to share this find with you all from Lulu's. Chloe is always posting adorable dresses from there and so I browse often. Lookie what I found yesterday:

Kiss and Make-up Dress. $38. Hmmmm does this remind anyone else of Anthro's Blushing Faille Dress?! I was so excited when I spied this, because while I'm pondering pulling the trigger on the Anthro version and wearing it for my 30th birthday party, I know not all of you can swallow the hefty price tag and would love something more inexpensive and here it is! I ordered one other dress from Lulu's before and the quality is pretty on-par with Forever 21. What do you expect for $38? I'm sad because I don't think the Lulu's version would be nearly long enough for me, but it's so cute!

Compare it to Anthro's $188 dress and let me know what you think!

I also noticed the Boutique by Forever 21 pieces are online, but they didn't give us any info as to whether stores will have this or not, and if they do which ones. I am happy to see that prices are pretty on-par with F21's other special collections. Anyhow, here's what's catching my eye.
Roman Sequin Silk Top. $29.80. I think this would be so cute for an evening out with the girls.

Vintage Beaded Sweater. $24.80. So I'm really curious to see how the fit will be on this sweater since it looks like a belly shirt on the model. I really hope the model has a freakishly long torso and it will cover my belly, because at almost 30, I really think my belly baring days are over. I think this sweater is so cute and the details are great, so I hope it works out!

I also notice one of the tops I liked from the preview isn't online. Hopefully they're still adding to this collection, because there's not much to choose from at all. What do you guys think?

Lastly, here's my super boring outfit of the day. You've all seen it before, but here it is again anyhow. Try not to fall asleep, but I wasn't all that inspired today. First, I couldn't drag my ass out of bed, so I was running late. We also got to wear jeans today because we're moving floors at work, so I'm packing.

Argh, my hair looks so bad - I apologize. Why do you think I'm doing a happy dance about getting it done tonight? It needs maintenance!!
Sweater: Forever 21 Twelve by Twelve Line (bought in August, not online)
Cami: Jcrew Rolling Ruffles Tank
Jeans: Forever 21 $12.50 Skinnys
Coat: Jcrew Wool Ruffle Front Coat

Alright darlings, I hope you all have a fabulous day and weekend! Who else is going to see NEW MOON?!!!
Besides going to see Edward, er I mean New Moon, are you guys shopping this weekend? What are you buying? Leave me your comments!

F-You Fishnets!

Maria, you asked how my fishnets were in the cold weather today? The cold I could stand. However, I just went to the ladies room and much to my horror, noticed a big, huge rip down my entire leg in my fishnets!! Damn you fishnets. I love you so, why do you continue to treat me this way. Readers, I have a love affair with nude fishnets. I have them in full hose versions and I also wear nude fishnet trouser socks all through the winter with pants. Yet, the constantly abuse me and treat me like garbage. I get rips, holes in the toes - you name it. Will this stop me from buying more and wearing them? Hell no. But F-YOU fishnets. I took those jerks off and threw them in the trash.

*end rant*

**runs off to anthropologie.com to make myself feel better now**

~Pretty Little Dresses That I Adore~

I don't know about you readers, but I've been seeing some dresses lately that just have my heart skipping a beat. I wish I had somewhere fancy to wear half of them (because half of them are fancy!). I thought I'd do a post of all the dresses that have me drooling, because let's face it - what girl doesn't love a pretty dress? Not to mention, the holiday season is upon us, so I know at least some of you could use a good dress (or two). Here's what has my heart going piter-pater and by the way...they aren't all from Anthro. Shocking, I know!

We'll start with a roundup from Anthro:
Horizon Line Dress. $138 by Maeve. Yes, I know I posted this yesterday. This just goes to show you that I cannot get it out of my head. It will be mine - IT WILL! Now this is a dress I could wear in my everyday life - no special ocassion needed. Take that fancy frocks!

Blushing Faille Dress. $188 by Sine. Gahhh...another one that is haunting me. I haven't seen it in the store yet (but I haven't been there in 6 days - gasp!). I know some of you darlings ordered this - can anyone out there tell me how it is in real life? Could I wear this to work with a cardigan? Is it special enough to be my 30th birthday dress?!

Frozen Crystals Dress. $178 by Yoana Baraschi. Hello, my name is Kim and I'm a colorblock whore. It's true readers. I really, really am. I keep staring at this dress too. Where am I going in all of these dresses? I don't know, but I feel my life would be happier with this hanging in my closet. Anyone own this one?

Flight-of-Swans Dress. $298 from Twinkle by Wenlen. Ok, I promise I will try this on next time I go to Anthro. I saw it the last two times I went and didn't try it on because I came to the sad conclusion that I have nowhere to wear it, which makes me sad.

Fields of Gold Dress. $148 by Moulinette Soeurs. Or "Snow White Dress" as I deemed it. Personally I like my name better ;-) Anyhow, I love this and was holding out for a sale, but all the small sizes are gone online. Hopefully I'll find it in a store. I think I could make this work-appropriate. You can see my original review of it here.

Bustling Avenues Dress. $158 by Tabitha. GO ON SALE DRESS! Go on sale right now! You're taunting me you bad little dress. (I know you're yelling with me Rosa!). Enough said. But here's my review, right here.

Verite Dress. $158. I know what you're all thinking. Kim, why do you continue to post and talk about this dress? Shut up and buy it already. I think you're probably right. I need to shut up and buy it. Clearly I can't drink it off my mind (Rolling Stones, anyone?). Why does boyfriend hate it? *sobs*. Read my review for the 800th time, here.

Now onto Forever 21, which is a great store for fun and cheap dresses.
Heart Lace Tiered Dress. $24.80. I want to thank Angela from Angela's Cafe for posting this dress and making me realize I need it in my life. It's in my shopping cart ready to go. She looks so fantastic in it, I have to have it. See it on her here.

Mesh Tiered Hem Dress. $27.80. I fear this will be scandalousy short on me, as is the case with most dresses and skirts from Forever 21, but I'll give it a try. Maybe I can size up for length. I think the bottom would be awesome for layering and would look fabulous peeking out under a long cardigan.

American Eagle Brocade Strapless Dress. $69.50. I blame Miss Chloe entirely for my lust of this dress. I never even noticed it until she had to go and post herself looking fabulous in it. Now I want it, but alas, it's probably going to be too short on me :-(
See it on Chloe and drool here.

EDITED TO ADD: I forgot to post this - do any of you have any dresses (from anywhere) you'd like to see styled for the holidays? I'd love to do a fancy dress post, so just let me know in the comments, or shoot me an email at berlyb33(at)gmail(dot)com and just let me know the ocassion and the dress!

Alright and for fun, there are two skirts I'm drooling over after seeing them on my blogger friends. They are inexpensive and adorable, so of course, they will be mine!

Target Xhiliration Mini Skirt. $16.99. So I saw this at my local Target last weekend and I thought "oh how cute, but how would I wear that, and where would I wear it?" Well a couple day's later, Becca at Bea is Beautiful posted herself wearing it, and I knew I had to revisit it to buy it. I thought it'd be too short on me, but she's taller than moi, so maybe it seems it will work!! Look how cute it looks on her here.

Old Navy Ruffle-Tiered Sateen Skirt. $29.50. Here's another skirt I saw online and thought "it's just ok and probably not great since it's Old Navy (I'm not a big fan of ON's quality)". Well Rosa at Love at First Shop, posted it here, and I've been dying for it ever since. I'm so easily influenced!

Phew, that was a long-winded post! The sick thing is, I could post about 20 more dresses I love, but I'd be here all day. What do you think of my picks readers? I always love hearing your feedback!

Here's today's outfit of the day. For some reason I feel preppy yet 1940's chic today. I don't know what it is, maybe it's in my head.
I do know that I love this skirt oh so much. It's from Anthro (who knows when) by Elevenses, and from my awesome sister-in-law - she scored it at the thrift store!! I'm also wearing my awesome eBay score -the Cormorant Blouse.

Sweater: Express (it's navy)
Blouse: Anthropologie Cormorant Blouse (check ebay!)
Belt: Jcrew
Skirt: Anthropologie
Nude Fishnets
Shoes: Jessica Simpson Oscars in Nude Patent (found at DSW)
Pearls: Target

Alright darlings, I hope you all have a fabulous Thursday - the weekend is almost here and I for one can't wait - I'm getting my hair done tomorrow (no more looking at my ugly roots readers!), and seeing New Moon and having a fabulous Tapas/Sangria dinner with my best girlfriends.

Boutique by Forever 21: A Very Anthro-esque New Line

Darlings, I'm so excited! You all know how much I love Anthropologie (Duh!) and that I also have a love for Forever 21. Well, Forever 21 announced yesterday that they are launching another new line called Boutique 21, and lovelies, I have to tell you - it is very reminicent of Anthro!! It launches online this Friday to buy, and I can't wait to see the rest of the collection.

Take a sneak peek with me, won't you?

Boutique by Forever 21 is Vintage Inspired, Feminine, and Romantic. Floaty, Flirty Silhouettes are paired with edgy bottoms and sweet, cozy sweaters for a look that is feminine but still casual.

Do you search Hidden treasure at vintage shops?

Do you dream about Feathers & Sequins?

Introducing, Boutique Forever 21 made just for you.

(Man, I wish this wasn't a belly shirt!)

one-of-a-kind Details...

Elaborate embellishments...

Higher Quality fabrications... define this Unique Collection.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm super stoked to see the rest of this line. What I love most about Forever 21 is the affordability of trendy and cute pieces, and a lot of the time I buy things from there that remind me of Anthropologie and remind me of Anthro. This collection is definitely that. Like I said, it launches this Friday online, and when I have more info about what stores it's being sold at, I'll let you all know!! What do you think of this new line at Forever 21?

I also wanted to share something over on Anthro's website that has me drooling today.
Horizon Line Dress. $138 by Maeve. You will be mine little dress, you will! Ruffles and scallops oh my! Comes in Shell or Red and both are lovely, but the Shell has my heart going pitter-patter. This dress is everything I love all rolled into one piece: vintage-inspired, feminine, and adorable!

Now onto my outfit of the day. I'm busting back to 2007 with my Hudson Lace Cardigan. Anyone else remember this little gem? I love it so - so feminine and pretty. I see them pop on eBay from time to time if anyone is looking :-) I paired it with my Dark Orange Thousand Days Skirt (this color combo is quickly becoming another favorite of mine). A woman on my floor at work made my day today too - it's gloomy and rainy and depressing outside, and she looked at me and said "you look so pretty today. You're like a ray of sunshine and we need that, especially today." Man, the littlest things can really make your day brighter. Just wanted to share that.

I also broke out my Jcrew Wool Ruffle-Front Coat today. Man, I just love this coat. Anyone still on the fence about it - GET IT. RIGHT NOW!!!

Sweater: Anthropologie (click here for item #)
Cami: Jcrew Rolling Ruffles Tank (click here for similar)
Skirt: Anthropologie (click here)
Tights: Simply Vera from Kohl's (click here) and thanks to Maria over at Infinite Whimsy for recommending these to me! They're perfect!

Ok darlings, hope you enjoyed today's post. Let me know what you think of Forever 21's new line, my outfit, the dress I'm drooling over, or whatever's on your mind. Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Warning: A big post today! Sale Mardown's, Shout-outs, and an Outfit.

Well, all the little birdies who told me there would be new sale items at Anthropologie today were right. Thanks to everyone who gave me the heads up. Only one of my "I hope you go on sale" items went on sale, but let's take a look at the rest as there are some definite goodies!

Monochromatic Corset Dress. $99.95 (was $188). I would totally snap this up in a heartbeat if I had somewhere to wear it, but considering I can't really put the girls on full display at the office and I don't go to many fancy parties, I'm passing. My advice? Size up! I highly recommend it, and you can check out my full review here. Roxy also tried it on and you can see how she liked it here.

Fiery Tiers Dress. $119.95 (was $228). I've never seen this one in person, nor tried it on (obviously), but I'm sure some of you ladies had your eye on this cute little number -now's your chance to snap it up!

Centifolia Corset Dress. $99.95 (was $188). I just saw this dress for the first time last week, and the colors are vibrant and beautiful. I've never tried it on, but it's Plenty by Tracey Reese, so you know it's good quality. According to reviews on the anthro site, the fit is true to size.

Masterful Car Coat. $99.95 (was $228). WOW, this is a major markdown! Normally, markdown's are only 50% off, which leads me to believe this coat hasn't been selling well at all. I've seen it in real life and it's a beautiful coat - gorgeous shade of gray. It's made by Elevenses, so it's good quality and in my experience fits true to size.

Sweater Sleeve Coat. $99.95 (was $228). Another big markdown. I've never seen nor tried this on, but Idra is a good brand. If any of you had your eye on this one, now's your chance!

C'est Bon Dress. $59.95 (was $118). This dress honestly never caught my eye until one of you asked me to style it, and I created a couple polyvore sets with it. It's the perfect dress to dress up or down, and the color is divine.

Bull's Eye Dress. $79.95 (was $158). I hope you guys are snapping this one up, since most sizes are already sold out online! A few of you emailed me about this one, so I hope you get it! Very cute dress.

Ruffles-Upon-Ruffles Tee. $39.95 (was $78). Oh how I want this badly in moss. I've pretty spent my monthly budget at Anthro right now though. Will it still be around in a week and a half? A girl can hope, can't she? I didn't review this, but tried it on quickly, and the xs fit nicely, so true to size for me.

Blooming Phlox Tank. $29.95 (was $58). Good price. This top didn't work for me, because in true Deletta fashion it ran huge and I was sized out. Cute for you girls that it works for, but my advice is to size down ladies!

Olson Scoopneck. $49.95 (was $98). I tried this on, and while it fit me true to size, I wasn't crazy about the fit, especially in the chest area. You can read my full review here. Hopefully it works for some of you and you can snag it.

Puckered & Pleated Cardigan. $69.95 (was $128). I'm not surprised to see this one on sale. I felt like a stuff eskimo in it and found it rather itchy. I know it has the potential to look good on some though, because my friend Farrah rocks it and looks gorgeous in it. So someone, snap it up! Bonus points if you own the Diaphanous Tunic - it looks great with it!

Checkered Please, Jacket. $99.95 (was $178). Ok, this one I'm surprised to see on sale this quickly! Maybe it's because I'm biased and own and love it, but I thought it was selling pretty well. Anyhow, I can't say enough good things about this darling little jacket - so you must buy it now!! This is a great deal (hello, kicking myself for paying full price!). You can read my review here.

Now don't forget lovelies, if you see something in the sale section you want, but your size is sold out online, you can contact Anthro's Customer Service @ 800.543.1039 and have them search the stores for you.

Next up, I wanted to say that I truly have the BEST blog readers a girl could ever hope for. Besides your constant reading of this little blog, your helpful comments, and your support (especially when I get nasty comments!, and with the whole job thing), I received two gifts in the mail recently from two of my readers and I wanted to give them both a shoutout for their genorisity. I do this blog because a) I have a love affair with Anthropologie and I was looking for others who shared it and b) to help out my fellow Anthroholics with reviews, sizing, etc. Receiving thank you gifts for doing my blog is unexpected and simply amazing.

First up, last month, Rosa sent me a "thank you for all your hard work on your amazing blog" gift. She knows I have a mini Dachshund and that I love pearls, so look what she sent me!

I love and adore both items - thanks Rosa!

Next, I received an email from the lovely Tien (who has has a great blog - check it out here) asking me if I still needed the Berry Bush Tights. The timing was amazing, because I had just purchased them and when I tried them on, they got a huge rip up the back of the leg :-( So I said yes, and when I tried to pay her for them, she told me she'd love to send them to me as a thank you gift for my blog. Once again, incredibly sweet. So I know have a new pair of Berry Bush Tights thanks to Tien. Thanks so much Tien!! I'm wearing them today!

I am posting these thank you's to give recognition to Rosa and Tien and as a public thank you. Just for the people who like to leave hateful remarks - I am in NO way, posting to get more gifts (because I'm sure I'll get at least one anonymous remark saying so). Most of my wonderful readers know I just wanted to give some love back. I appreciate each and every one of you!

I also wanted to give a shout-out to Krjsten & Anna over at Have a Cute Day. They run an amazing blog where fellow cuties (like you readers!) can submit your outfit pics. Well last week was dress week, so I submitted a picture and they posted it today. You can check it out here.

And of course, last but not least, is today's outfit of the day. And boy am I ever Anthro'd out today. I'm wearing my Whirling Ruffles Dress, which I just adore! I love a good sweater dress, and this one has the perfect details and it soft and not itchy at all! I'm also wearing my Sea Blossom Necklace, and of course - my Berry Bush Tights from Tien. Let me give you all a warning if you own or plan to buy these tights. They rip super easily. My first pair ripped the first time I tried them on. Tien's pair ripped after a couple wears, and my reader Suzi mentioned the same thing. These are my favorite tights right now, so I probably spent 5 minutes this morning carefully putting them on and pulling them up slowly. Handle with care.

Ok darlings, now go shop that sale! Leave me your comments and tell me what you're buying and whatever else is on your mind!

I'm holding out for a hero (Ok, a sale)!

Sorry for the Footloose song reference, but I started singing in my head about holding out for a sale, and naturally that great song popped into my head.

So a couple little birdies told me that Anthropologie will be marking more goodies down tomorrow. I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait to see if a)it's true and b)what hits the sale racks!

Here's my list of items I've been waiting and pining and yearning to go on sale. What do you think my chances are?

Tick-Tock Cardigan. Currently $98. What do you guys think? Sale tomorrow? Seems a little early to put a sweater on sale, but all of my local stores still have a ton in stock, and it appears online has plentiful stock too. Time to push this one out? If so, I'm buying it!

Bustling Avenues Dress. Currently $158. Please, mark this dress down Anthro. I saw a whole bunch at my store Friday and online hasn't sold out of this dress even once. I'm holding out, and I really want it!

Ruffles-Upon-Ruffles Tee. Currently $78. I really want the teal to wear under my Elodie Lily Cardigan. Plus, it's adorable and I lack teal-colored items in my closet.
Saw a bunch at my store this weekend and this has been out for quite some time now. It's about time for a sale!

Tied Martagon Tee. Currently $58. I know $58 isn't horrible, but I have a feeling this one will get marked down soon, and $29.95 is a lot nicer of a price.

Diaphanous Tunic. Currently $88. Yeah, I know I returned it. I haven't lost my mind. Now that I won the Elodie Lily Cardigan, I think I might buy this one back if/when it hits the sale rack. That is if I can even find a size 0 when it does.

Twilit Skirt. Currently $128. Probably a fat chance in hell this will go on sale as early as tomorrow, but a girl can dream, right? I want it and my store has a bunch! Time to move it to the sale rack.

First Frost Coat. Currently $178. My boyfriend keeps asking me when I'm buying this coat, and I keep saying "just as soon as it goes on sale, because I know it will." I hope I don't end up inserting my foot in my mouth. I just noticed online that my size is sold out, but I've seen them in the store everytime I go. Hmmm. Too early for winter coat markdowns, right?

Now of course there are plenty of other items I'd love to see go on sale (Always a Lady Skirt, Verite Dress, Drenched Helenium Tee, etc), but I figured they're selling too well to go on sale just yet.

So what do you guys think? Do any of my items stand a chance to be moved to the sale rack tomorrow? Fingers crossed! Please leave me your comments and tell me what you hope makes it to the sale tomorrow - what are you waiting on? I'll post an update with actual sale additions (if there are any) tomorrow morning!

A Very Special (Anthro) Outfit of the Day

First, and foremost, I want to thank all of you awesome readers who alerted me any time the Anthro Fulmar Sweater Skirt popped up on eBay! You guys really do rock. Thanks to all of you, I am now the proud owner of said Fulmar Skirt!! I love finding things I've been stalking on eBay. I also got it at a super great price.
As you all know, I've been on a huge mint green and rust color combo kick. I'd like to give props to Rosa over at Love at First Shop for the outfit/color inspiration in my outfit today. You can check out her outfit with this skirt here.

So without further ado, here's my bird skirt in action.

I also wanted to thank Chloe for pushing me over the edge to buy the Lisa for Loft Short Ribbon Chain Necklace. She told me I had to have it, because it's very "me" and she was right!

Sweater: Express
Cami: Gap
Skirt: Anthropologie Fulmar Sweater Skirt

Don't worry darlings, I'll be back later today with another post! Have a great Monday!
